Being an engineer, I am extra careful with the roofing contractors that I hire because my profession is on the line. I have to choose the right roofing companies to tackle the job. I make sure that I keep a list of the roofing companies that I hired for the job. In that way, if any repair and maintenance is needed I can contact them.
I usually get the ones that offer warranty and the ones who are willing to inspect the work that they have done after 2 to 3 years. Aside from that, I only get roofing companies that have years of experience, specialize in inspection and roof repair and have workers who are licensed and insured.
I don’t go for the ones that would just tear the roof apart and then build it again instead of just repairing it. This is where you will see the commitment. It is my philosophy to hire the ones that will go the extra mile to provide service.
